Ryan has a gift for finding loopholes and exceptions...or maybe it is just precision. In any case, he definitely gets it from his parents! When I told him, "Watch what you're doing, you just spilled all your fruit snacks," he indignantly said he did not spill all of them...sure enough, there were a couple left in the bag. And when told that "in our family, we don't hit," he protested that "we hit balls." Not that I remember any ball-hitting going on lately, but I can see he isn't going to accept generalizations easily!
