Kyle is 6 months old now, as of last Saturday. He can sit up now for long periods of time, playing with toys (and he loves toys...and nearly anything else he can grab), and when he does fall down he'll usually just roll and scoot around for a while. He isn't exactly crawling, but has gotten up on all fours a few times and can definitely move several feet across the floor by rolling, scooting, and creeping (mainly backwards).

He has no teeth yet, but boy does he have some strong gums!!! In the past few days, he has chomped through two teething toys!! First he split the big blue rubber teether on his Exersaucer open down the seam, and today he bit right through one of those clear plastic teethers with the liquid inside!! I am hoping and assuming it is safe & non-toxic... (they usually say it's sterilized water, but it seemed a bit thicker than water). The latter one was fairly new, too. Ryan never did this! He was only mildly interested in teethers, anyway... Kyle chomps HARD on anything he can find. I have thought he was almost going to suck the skin off of my hand before! Both our kids seem to like rubber better than food... Even Ryan (who has never been a good eater), who should be more sensible at nearly 3, started pulling apart his foam Thinking Chair yesterday and trying to eat the foam pieces, so I had to confiscate it!!

The boys are still not sure how to interact with each other, but at least they are interacting now...sometimes in silly ways, as you can see in this picture, taken last week!
