A few points of interest about Kyle:

1) He babbles a lot, and particularly loves to babble while we are trying to feed him solid food! Even as he's disgusted by the food, he starts grinning at us and "talking with his mouth full." Listen to him babble! (Also listen to him laugh!)

2) He loves to thrash toys and books against the floor, sometimes quite energetically. We've wondered if he should have been named Bamm-Bamm instead of Kyle.

3) He is a stimulation junkie... it seems to be inborn for him! Even though we try not to have the TV on much, he loves it every time he sees it--especially Baby Mozart, which we don't mind, but he's been known to cry when it ended! And nearly always calms down if the TV comes on... Mark and I joked that the Nirvana lyric "Here we are now, entertain us!" could just as easily have been written about Kyle as about teenagers! The other morning he was in his Exersaucer and started screeching, even though he usually loves it. I saw that he had dropped all his "extra" toys on the floor. I said, "What, you mean the eight toys attached to the thing aren't enough for you?!" (I guess he's just a multi-tasker like his Daddy!) Ryan could take or leave toys at this age, but Kyle wants everything he sees in his hands or in his mouth, wants access to several toys at any time, loves music, and always wants to be in the center of the action. Whereas Ryan was happy to sit in his bouncy chair watching us without fussing, and used it so much it wore out, Kyle's bouncy chair been used about 5 times in his life! His idea of a good time is a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's or some other loud place with a lot of people, and has been since he was about 6 weeks old!
